School Partial Re-Opening Update

Dear Parent/Carer,

The Enquire Learning Trust (ELT) have made the decision today, not to start re-entering priority groups of pupils until Monday 8th June should the National 5 Tests be met. Trustees gave thorough consideration to risk assessments and national, regional and local coronavirus data.

Following on from this decision, I can now inform you of when the following specific year groups will be re-entering:

Monday 8th June – Nursery

Tuesday 9th June – Reception

Wednesday 10th June – Year 1

Monday 15th June – Year 6

Start Times:

Children with surnames A-L to arrive between 8:45 and 9:00.

Children with surnames M-Z between 9:00 and 9:15.

Pick Up Times:

Children with surnames A-L to leave between 2:45 and 3:00.

Children with surnames M-Z between 3:00 – 3:15.

If you have children with different surnames then just pick either time to arrive – it’s more important that things are staggered than the exact grouping.

ONLY ONE ADULT should bring children to school and pick up. This is to reduce the number of people on site over this period of time. We understand that some of you may have other children that you will need to bring along with you.

Exit / Entrances From Monday 8th June:

Key Worker Group

KS2 Hall Door (This provision will move due to the partial re-opening).

Nursery

Usual Nursery Entrance

Reception

Usual Reception Class Entrance

Year 1

Usual Year 1 Entrance

Year 6

If and when pupil numbers increase, these entrance / exits may change as we spread further throughout the school.

Please see previous letters sent out for:

  • Measures in place to reduce risk of COVID 19
  • Organisation of school for partial re-opening

All previous letters and information can be found on the academy’s website in ‘news’.

FSM Vouchers for Rec, Y1 and Y6 will stop from 8th June. If you need any support with food please let the school know.

As I have shared before, we are not going to put any pressure on you to send your children in to school. This is a parental decision.

We have spoken to most of you regarding your decision at this time. If at any time you decide to change this decision, you must contact school so that we can agree your child’s re-entry. This is to ensure the correct organisation, staffing and provision is in place to keep everyone safe.

The deadline for any changes for our initial first in-take of pupils is Wednesday 27th May by 2pm.

Best Wishes,

D. Linacre
