Morning all. The guidance is now out on key workers. We will be preparing what I hope will be clear guidance for you all. This includes the advice for families who have only one key worker. Please be patient with us as I want to get this right and make it as clear and helpful as possible. In the meantime. The school closures are to protect us all from the spread of the virus. We have been really fortunate so far within our region and only if we follow the guidance of the government can we continue to reduce the risks. Therefore, I ask that if you are able to find childcare for your children, work from home or take time of work then please try to. Some key workers can also make these arrangements. I myself am a key worker and my husband will now be working from home to keep our children off. I know you will not all be able to arrange this and we will provide the support families need. The government advice is clear on one thing: 'If is at all possible for children to be at home, then they should be'.
