Parental Engagement
At Easterside Academy there are lots of opportunities for parents / carers and family members to engage in the life of the school.
- Meet the Teacher evening (September)
- Early Years 'Stay and Play' - Every Wednesday morning
- Termly Open Mornings - KS1, LKS2 and UKS2.
- Parent Consultation Times - 'Learning Conversations' with your child and their class teacher - termly.
- Celebration events
- Whole School Sports Day
- Annual Whole School Art Gallery Exhibition
- Parent Courses e.g. Healthy eating for the family with a (free slow cooker provided), Positive Parenting etc.
- Half-termly SEND drop in sessions e.g. Sleep hygiene & Early Help.
- Workshops for parents/carers e.g. Phonics & Y6 SATs
