|Focus (Subject)||Baby Photographs/objects from when we were a baby.Autumn Explorers||Books, pictures, models of dinosaurs. Use of internet, looking at big & small fantasy creatures.Bring in an egg – explore, touch, research them. Farm animals – stories/poems.||Pack a rucksack with some things in the an explorer might use. Watch a clip of “Honey I shrunk the kids” – what its like to be small.Stories / ask children their understanding of the words team, win, lose, take park in competition and fitness, collect photographs of sporting events, pack a sports bag. Use their bodies to follow simple instructions.Stories – look at different pictures of water, take a walk on a rainy day, pass the ice cube and soapy water – compare.|

Early Years (Nursery and Reception) parents and family are invited to stay on Thursday’s to join in themed activities with their child in the setting.
For morning nursery and reception this is at 8.45am and for afternoon nursery this is at 12. The sessions last for approx 30 – 45 mins. Everyone welcome!
Reception children will take part in Yoga Bugs every Thursday. Please ensure they have their PE kit with them on these days and earrings are taken out if they have them.
Children in Year 1 and 2 will learn about the French culture today.
Children in Year 3 and 4 will learn about the Norwegian Culture.
Children in Year 5 and 6 will learn about the Mexican Culture.
